Body of Christ

...so it is with Christ's body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. ~ Romans 12:5 

This a verse that I got today and i thought that I would blog about it. So I will. This verse reminded me of one of my favorite Casting Crowns songs. (Probably because the song was based off of the verse) I think that it really makes it evident that no matter who we are or what we've done everyone is Gods child and we are all part of his family. There is so much competition even within the Christian faith about which denomination is better. God is the reason that we go to church and read the bible and why we live. I can't imagine going through life without God standing right behind me. We need to remember that the reason we are here is to serve and we should serve together. The song talks about someone walking in to church and being laughed at because they're not wearing the "right" clothes or they don't pray that "right" way. We are all God's family. Simple as that.
