This is going to be a very short and random post. I had two peppers
and some sour cream. That is where it began. My parents often joke that
I am a food stylist, but I had never attempted a styling of this
proportion. A comical styling... bring it on. Hold it! Sorry this is
really awful and kind of cliche. Any who... this is what I came up with.
I call it a vegetable sundae. Its 'bowls' are mini sweet peppers, its
'ice cream' is sour cream, its sprinkles are home grown chives
(mmmmmm!), and there is an Italian dressing drizzle that resembles
caramel sauce. I am going to eat it while you observe the picture. Have
a great night or what is left of it.

Body of Christ
...so it is with Christ's body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. ~ Romans 12:5
This a verse that I got today and i thought that I would blog about it. So I will. This verse reminded me of one of my favorite Casting Crowns songs. (Probably because the song was based off of the verse) I think that it really makes it evident that no matter who we are or what we've done everyone is Gods child and we are all part of his family. There is so much competition even within the Christian faith about which denomination is better. God is the reason that we go to church and read the bible and why we live. I can't imagine going through life without God standing right behind me. We need to remember that the reason we are here is to serve and we should serve together. The song talks about someone walking in to church and being laughed at because they're not wearing the "right" clothes or they don't pray that "right" way. We are all God's family. Simple as that. Here's the song I was talking about.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAWeHo8E70E
I hope you guys are having a great day!

Photography and Guitar Strings
Hey People!
I just wanted to share what I made/did today. The first 4 pictures are my attempt at a little bit of photography. Please leave a comment about how it looks. (i.e. It looks like real photography, or what the crap is this?) The last picture is of my guitar string jewelry I made today. I think that it looks pretty cool. You can't really tell what it is from the picture, but it is a ring and a bracelet. I'm pretty sure that the bracelet is made of the E and the E string and the ring is made from the G and B string. I recently restrung my guitar so I had these old ones. I hope you enjoyed this and please do leave as many comments as you'd like.

God is AWESOME!
Hey Peeps!
I get these cool devotion type things most days and I thought that I would share this one with you.

I think that this is super true and we really should be amazed by what God has done. First he makes the WHOLE WORLD and He has some extra time on His hands, so He makes tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of animals. It is a lot to think about and to take in. Nobody on this earth would be able to make a frog work or the water cycle work. Let's face it, it took long enough for us to figure out how we work! The Egyptians thought that the brain was useless! I think that we really need to reflect to God and others how AWESOME ( in the real meaning of the word) God is.

Needles and Nails
These are all of my supplies. The big bottle is a nail polish drying spray by envi. I also have to use the toe separators because my toes kind of stick together
These are my weird looking feet that I painted with Blue Me Away! by Sally Hansen and then I painted them with OPI's Fresh Frog of Bel Air.
Here are the ugly feet again! I guess feet aren't usually very pretty
Here are my finger nails that I did. You can't see the color very well.
I have kind of chubby looking hands with funky finger joints.
I painted them with Blaze in the Mirror Shine collection by AVON. I don't think that they sell this color any more, but you can check.
This is my sewing project!
It is a coffee cozy. (Like those flimsy cardboard things that you get at Starbucks)
It was fairly easy to make and I love the buttons!
As you can see I picked two contrasting patterns to make it look kind of funky. Just like me!
This is just to represent all of the tons of animals that were out in my backyard all day. Bunnies, squirrels, birds and other creatures. All over!
I had a lot of time today so I took on a sewing project... and I painted all of my nails! Here are all of the pics and I will explain them all with captions! Thanks for reading!

Uplifting Doors
This is just my door. I wanted to show you all of my poster/ pictures. My favorite is probably my "Next thing you know my donkey fell down you waffle hole" poster thing.
I just wanted to write a little post on my door. Yup. My door. I have tons of pictures and quotes on it and it is semi chaotic. I like to have uplifting things on my door because it reminds me every time I go through it, that there are always new opportunities and things to look forward to in life. There is always something that I forget I had on my door. The other day I had forgotten about my Bob the Tomato quote. "You roll the dice, you move your mice. Nobody gets hurt." It just reminded my to loosen up and not look so negatively at a rough patch. Don't stay camping inside and be afraid to take chances. I just put my Donkey poster up and it always makes me laugh. The first time I heard the phrase, I laughed for three minutes straight. I put a flower that was on a cover of a book on my door because I thought that it was really pretty. I always keep a drawing on my door with my name from a friend because it makes me think of her and Leech Lake. There is a picture of a caterpillar because it reminds me of a bible camp that I go to. There is a sticker from my church that I got when I was at my other bible camp. I love going back to these moments. There are so many spiritual memories that these posters remind me of which really helps affirm my faith. I would recommend putting things that will make you smile and think on your door.

This is the violin sections. You can mostly see the firsts.
This is our whole orchestra. Our conductor (The lovely lady in the middle) is the amazing Ms. Busch.
This is the cello section. Woooo! Go cellos!
This is the whole orchestra trying to get organized so we can have Lattin Photography take our picture! That was just so much fun. *sigh*
